This job was entirely commission based, and included guiding homeowners through the entire process of a roof installation. This multi-month process included conducting a roof inspection, filing a claim with the homeowner and their insurance, communicating with the insurance adjuster, ensuring a smooth installation, and collecting payment from insurance companies. As a door-to-door sales job, it was inherently complex. Managing multiple clients at a time while simultaneously building up a pipeline was essential to success. Over my summer with Manchac, I filed over 40 claims and brought in over $200,000 in revenue to the company.

This internship was a fantastic introduction to the behind the scenes process of broadcasting. Tasks included writing short stories for the Twin-Cities Live and Minnesota Live websites, setting up the studio for each show, attending out-of-studio events and live broadcasts, and keeping a tidy environment for all employees.
