I believe that to enjoy life you must learn to appreciate the little things. While vacations and holidays are wonderful, it is the little things that makeup so much of your life - sharing a dinner with loved ones, going for a walk on a beautiful day, a book that you can't put down. Life's small comforts, while mundane at their core, should never be overlooked. This manner of thinking is one I am constantly working at and will be until I am old because it is not a skill that you can learn one day and then never forget. It takes a very conscious effort, every day.I aim to bring this same philosophy to any task I undertake. The little things cannot be overlooked, because, at the end of the day, it is these same little things that will be most appreciated by the customer. If I have learned anything in my current role, when creating marketing messages or developing product feature sets, it is that no matter how quickly you can draw users in, they can leave even faster. And in an industry with multiple competitors all vying for the same target market, the little things are what get them to stay. Whether it be cutting down the number of keystrokes needed to perform a common action in an app or making it easier for a customer to get their purchasing question answered, these seemingly small quality-of-life improvements are what stick in people's minds and make them feel valued. That is where my passion lies, in making users feel heard.
