Lynntech's projects lie at the interface between fundamental research and engineering. We often are adapting ideas from disparate academic fields and finding ways to apply them in various real-world domains. Interns participate in this process by assembling data sets for testing methods, setting up computational environments, and building and testing models. Interns start off working on individual tasks and filling in singular needs, but will be given the opportunity, and encouraged to take ownership of sub-systems for which they are considered responsible. Some projects may also have a hardware component, which will likely be tied to data acquisition and processing.
