As a Senior Environmental Field Specialist, I am responsible for monitoring routine and emergency activities with potential environmental impacts. I provide professional consultation, advice, direction, and training to Company personnel and contractors to ensure compliance with internal Company policies and all external regulatory agencies. Additionally, I am required to staff and respond to field queries related to Company emergencies, with the possibility of physical visits, on an after-hours phone advice line on an as-needed basis. Emergency field responses may be required at any time, as determined to be necessary. My role necessitates possessing and maintaining a valid Driver's License. Role also requires the 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training.Responsibilities:- Support initiatives and best practices within PG&E's Salesforce Center of Excellence.- Act as a dedicated member of the Salesforce "Super User" Team, supporting the evolution of our experience.- Deliver CRM-based apps featured by Salesforce, focusing on environmental compliance and sustainability.- Lead end-to-end development of program-level technology transitions, driving digital transformation and efficiencies.- Provide mentorship to users adapting to new technologies.- Oversee deliverables to achieve benchmarked compliance goals.- Manage contractors' safety, support operational teams, lead programs, and set goals.- Champion behavior change by leading technical innovation and coaching peers on data collection.- Lead reviews for high-profile construction projects.- Manage Facility Environmental Compliance for 31 Hydro Electric Powerhouses.- Train and coach hundreds of operation employees and contractors.- Lead logistics for hundreds of Environmental Emergency Responses, including complex spills to navigable waterways.- Provide permit support.- Conduct focused assessments.- Act as an agency liaison.
