I used mood boards and sketches to help the client to determine their needs and style preferences. I designed the logo, brand standards and packaging. Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

As the art direction intern, I participated in new business pitches collaborating with copywriters and fellow art directors to concept new directions, styles and other strategies such as partnerships, influencers and user engagement. In addition, I have offered project assistance on variety of clients from dog medication to tractors and lawn mowers. Project assistance ranges from ideation, to Photoshop mockups and mood boards, and creative decks using InDesign. I also acted as the sole art director on the fall social campaign for Explore Minnesota Tourism leveraging the new story feature of Instagram stories and styles such as animation and stop motion. I collaborated with a copywriter to concept, storyboard and identify studio needs. I developed professionalism by participating in a client presentation and regularly pitching work to creative directors. I also displayed my ability to adapt and learn quickly teaching myself how to shoot stop motion videos and edit them with After Effects.

Socket is the largest privately held internet and phone service provider in Missouri serving over 400 cities.I designed a wide array of material for Socket including direct mail pieces, flyers and graphics featured on the company website using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I gained photography experience through shooting and editing photos used in direct mail pieces and on the company website. I improved my copy writing skills by writing articles featured in the monthly newsletter and blog. I learned how to successfully advertise on a local scale utilizing outlets such as direct mail, yard signs and radio.

The Hub is a new conceptual music venue that combines the fast-casual dining experience with the music festival atmosphere. The Hub hosts a wide variety of regional music talents and events. I assisted in the marketing efforts by designing flyers to advertise the schedulze and special events hosted at the concert venue. As a server and bartender, I provided excellent service averaging over 20 percent gratuity on sales. I established myself as a flexible and valuable employee working multiple positions at the establishment.
