I am a first-year student at the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Health Informatics on the pre-med track. I have extensive university-level wet lab experience in diverse research fields including immunology, cancer/cell biology, and microbiology, gained through a multi-year biomedical fellowship. Through these research experiences, I have developed a strong foundation in bench work and field skills encompassing data collection, DNA extraction, micro pipetting, microscopy, and gel electrophoresis.I am deeply interested in how healthcare, technology, and society intersect and aspire to integrate biomedical research, machine learning for healthcare applications, and opportunities for real-world application to make healthcare more accessible and the world a better place.
