Project ManagerElevator Learning Mar 2007 - Aug 2009My next role at Elevator was as project manager, where I managed the internal production team and specific projects from initial proposal writing through to final delivery. I also acted as account manager as I was the first point of contact for the clients on a majority of projects. I primarily dealt with pharmaceutical companies and Medcomms agencies, delivering a range of websites and software applications. I also still worked on a number of e-learning projects for different industry sectors. Part of this role involved sales and new business, which involved cross selling to existing clients, but also included initial proposal writing and budgeting as well as pitching and presenting. -
Flash ProgrammerElevator Learning Mar 2006 - Feb 2007I initially joined Elevator as Multimedia / Flash developer in 2006. I was responsible for working directly with the creative team to develop QTI based Flash e-learning tools, interactive CDs, touch screen applications, and games for exhibitions for pharmaceutical companies. I also acted as support for web development and creating SCORM compliant e-learning courses for Learner Management Systems (LMS). I was also responsible for creating Captivate animations for the e-learning tools, and liaised directly with clients. -
Flash ProgrammerNetagency Sep 2001 - Sep 2006I was responsible for designing and developing Flash based e-learning activities for Maths Key stage 3 and key stage 4, as part of an overall CD-Rom developed for schools for use on the interactive whiteboard. The series was published by Nelson Thornes and was well received within schools, helping pupils to visualise mathematical ideas to aid understanding of key concepts and consolidate learning. The series was developed in conjunction with Keele University and nominated for a BETT award. Additional responsibilities included maintaining an Interactive Magazine website which provided schools with weekly fresh material and interactive exercises for their Math's pupils.Example feedback:"Year 7 were really impressed with the materials which made a visual impact and promoting understanding. During this time I was still developing e-learning games, applications and e-learning tools within Flash. I was also responsible for new business and building long-term relationships with clients.
