Began as a collegiate retail sales representative focused on providing college bookstores and retail shops with fan apparel including t-shirts, sweatshirts, dress shirts and outerwear. I transitioned into working with businesses and organizations on their marketing programs with promotional products and apparel while still maintaining the collegiate sales line.

Manhattan Coupons was an internet based advertising small business. The business was started by two college students and was in operation for sixteen months. Manhattan Coupons provided both small and large businesses that were operating in the Manhattan, KS area a local web based market place. Manhattan Coupons built each participating business a customized page that included pictures/menus/description/location/maps and a printable coupon for the consumer. Local businesses such as "Hey Baby" and "Optical Perspectives" were involved but so were larger more recognizable names like "Subway" and "FedEx Kinkos" Manhattan Coupons closed operations after covering their debt and reaching positive numbers, turning the idea into a positive venture.
