As a fourth-year Computer Science student at the University of Colorado Boulder, I am passionate about lower-level systems programming, multithreading, and network programming. I plan to graduate in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, and I am eager to pursue full-time software engineering roles in these domains.Currently, I am working as a Database Developer at LASP, CU's Laboratory of Atmospheric and Space Physics, where I perform regular bug fixes, feature implementations, and new script additions to multiple repositories containing over 350 bash scripts. These scripts are used for administrative tasks on Linux, AWS, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases that exceed several TB in size. I also develop AWS CDK code for data modeling and ingest applications. Through this experience, I have enhanced my skills in database management, cloud computing, and scripting languages. Additionally, I have completed a summer internship at Candela Medical, where I focused on IT/Data Privacy, and a job shadow at GrandCanals, where I wrote the interface for users to enter shipment information using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery. These opportunities have exposed me to different aspects of software development and data security, and have helped me develop my communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
