Oral Historian
CurrentUnder the general supervision of the director the oral historian oversees the Wisconsin Veterans Museum Oral History Program. The oral historian provides expertise in recommending and establishing policies, procedures and initiatives related to the program. The oral historian conducts interviews, supervises and trains limited term employees (LTEs), interns, practicum students, and volunteers. The oral historian identifies and collects biographical information about veterans who would like to be interviewed, schedules and coordinates the interviews. In addition, the oral historian develops, maintains, and organizes the oral history collection, both analog and digital and makes the content accessible to the public and other museum staff members.
