Procurement Manager
Current- Communicate with project manager and superintendents regarding material needs for respective projects.- Receive and process material lists, and send RFQ’s to relevant vendors.- Compare multiple material quotes, weighing prices and ETA’s to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries to job sites.- Construct and maintain comprehensive purchase logs in order to present clean and communicable material tracking to relevant PM’s for weekly meetings.- Identify lead time concerns for high-value, time-sensitive equipment and troubleshoot alternatives that enable projects to maintain schedule and meet deadlines.- Handle equipment rentals, verifying delivery and pickup dates for appropriate jobsites.- Aid in writing and reviewing subcontracts for various projects.- Work directly with warehouse staff to manage supply going to and from projects.
