I am an aspiring upcoming Junior at Auburn University pursuing my Bachelor's in accounting. I have a love for taking ownership and I enjoy looking for leadership opportunities within my work. I have experience taking leadership of a retail store while working on my shifts and interacting with customers daily. I love building relationships with people, whether it be through clients or through co-workers, and creating a friendly environment through those relationships. Talking to people and independently running my own operations have been a staple in any and all work I have done within my past jobs and education. I am leaning towards the social aspects of accounting seeing as my favorite professional activity is communicating. I believe in making a harmonious and safe work environment where teamwork and competitiveness is encouraged. Although I love teamwork, I believe that healthy competitive individuality is important to any work environment. Throughout all of high school and this first year of college I have consistently taken the lead on many final projects while maintaining a scholarship level grades. I hope to take the communicative, team working, and leadership skills I have discovered into my future years at Auburn and eventual career.
