We aimed to meet weekly sales targets and Key Performance Indicators, and I also ran the store when the manager was not present. This involved opening and closing the store, cashing up, completing paperwork, processing deliveries, attend relevant meetings, handling customer complaints and queries, and managing fellow staff.

This role includes looking after a marketing team which plans various marketing activities to assist in the promotion of active students. Using a marketing plan to guide the team on when ideas can create the most impact.Also in charge of creating the new posters, leaflets, and other visuals for university-wide use and having an important input on various projects happening within active students.

Maintaining the HSP's digital media accounts. This included the website; creating news items on a regular basis, keeping up to date with the latest information on the various projects, and also maintaining the events and jobs page. Regularly updating the social media accounts, including the analytical side. Also planning and implementing various social media campaigns to widen reach.The position also requires a publication on all the latest news and updates on disability in sport, called 'Herts Disability Sports Forum'. Finally it is sometimes required for photoshop use for various posters and other visuals when needed.
