Assisted with design work associated with timber drying kilns and boiler lines, customised to client specifications. Worked extensively in Autodesk Inventor to produce accurate 3D models and manufacturing drawings. Was responsible for acquiring quotations and to ensure on time delivery. Gained experience in AutoCAD by producing laser cutting drawings for several projects, plotting piping routes and HVAC component positioning and producing concepts for plant layouts. Worked with out-sourced companies during the manufacture of large components and became aware of difficulties encountered. Inspected items upon completion of manufacture. Represented TFD at regular site meetings for a project which entailed extensive house renovations.
