Voices of Justice is an online multimedia project that focuses on telling the real life stories of California inmates, parolees and correctional officers in order to help humanize and raise awareness about the crisis unfolding in the state's correctional system. VoJ stories are published on The Huffington Post, KALW News in San Francisco and VoicesOfJustice.com.

Kickback is an online ticketing start-up. I was contracted to overhaul their website's UX. Upon project completion, I joined the team full-time managing their front-end and marketing strategy.

Managed columnists, developed content, maintained a daily multimedia news feed, produced weekly eNewsletters, spearheaded social networking campaigns, built relationships with organizations in the larger community and wrote regular articles on breaking news, interviews with specialists and field reports from conferences and events.

Culture Sift was a blog I maintained while hitchhiking through North America writing freelance on a variety of subjects for a variety of publications.
