Lead engineer for Latin America region, Gulf of Mexico and other areas within US Land. Led drilling application review teams (15-20 people) comprised of design, research, engineering, and sales that provided drilling solutions and products to satisfy customer’s objectives. Conducted in-depth analysis of drilling applications and product performance through benchmark analysis of drilling data. Led to improved product performance and increased margins in Argentina. Coordinated potential product solutions and operational parameters to achieve customer objectives. Identified technology gaps to initiate research and product development action. Currently working on projects to improve performance in the Brazil Pre-Salt application.

Provide support for the product line(s), technical selling, and key field product applications. Assist with implementing new products to key markets and investigate unusual or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventive action. Met with customers as required to present project results and develop/design products and services to meet customer needs. Provided technical support in all aspects of drilling optimization including BHA design, bit selection, and drilling parameters.

Monitor and optimize PDC runs in experimental fields throughout West Texas and New Mexico district during TCI to PDC conversion. Monitor and optimize PDC, RWD, and experimental EZCase runs in fields throughout the South Texas district. Train rig crews on proper PDC parameters and troubleshooting. Bit runner for new TCI/PDC designs. Prepared post run analysis of these runs and compared the bits performance and dulls versus offsets. Create and present engineering sales presentations to South Texas customers on technology and performance to achieve to sales gains.

Cover field in New Mexico and provide assistance to customers with bit recommendations and run parameters. Managed the Hobbs, NM inventory and determined application for experimental TCI and PDC bit runs.

Maintained network integrity and security. Troubleshoot and repair workstations and servers, and install/configure software needed to run business. Provide technical support and troubleshooting to clientele. Assist in the preparation of monthly compilation reports.
