Hello there! With more than 8 years of experience in higher education recruitment and project management--and a lifetime obsessed with Games--my passion is helping people succeed, particularly in the Gaming Industry. As the Assistant Director of Admissions at DigiPen Institute of Technology, I lead a team of 3 Admissions Counselors as we recruit and admit students to the first college in the world to have a Game Design program. DigiPen focuses on providing Undergraduate and Graduate programs in the areas of Game Design, Game Art, and Game Programming.I have extensive knowledge and experience in the video game industry, having recruited for diverse disciplines such as Concept/Environment/World Art, Technical Art, Design, Narrative, Production, Publishing/Marketing, and Engineering at Bungie, one of the world's leading game studios. Managed 20+ concurrent high-volume roles, owned a total applicant pool of 12,000+ candidates and helped increase the unique applications of Bungie's Intern program by 500% and raised the gender diversity of applicants by 39%. In my time at Bungie, I contributed to building out their new Early Careers program in a variety of ways including creating training content, wiki pages/documentation, social media strategies, and school engagement. Planned, produced, and led multiple virtual/in-person events for 100+ attendees. I've also trained new associate recruiters on Recruiting best practices including ATS usage, Boolean logic filters, hiring manager relationships, candidate interaction, screening, and extending offers.Prior to Bungie, I led a team of 5-7 first-year University Recruiters as an Assistant Director of Freshman Admissions. Owned ultimate responsibility for performance of this team. Set and achieved recruiting goals, created Admissions programming, and developed my team. Managed a variety of projects from event planning, budgeting, documentation, and building CRM best practices. Served on Admissions Leadership Team reporting directly to Vice President of Undergraduate Enrollment. When not working, you can find me hiking, playing DND, learning sea shanties, re-watching Star Wars movies, or reading Brandon Sanderson novels!
