My name is Luke Zerbe, and I am a 1st year student at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University – Bloomington. I am currently pursuing a Finance and Accounting double Major. I am actively involved in the Financial Services Club and Boxing Club, and my passion for running keeps me grounded. My experiences as captains of my High School track team and Point72 team Case Competition helped me hone my skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership. After growing up outside of New York City, I wanted to get away from the Northeast, challenge myself, and give myself opportunities by pursuing an education at a nationally ranked business school. I am passionate around adaptability and others with a strong work ethic to continue to develop professionally.I am strongly motivated by my family, which have always pushed me to do my best. I thrive in environments where I can learn and grow as I work. My personal values, skills, and interests around accountability, drive, kindness, appreciation, reading, and continuous learning can complement organizations focused on stakeholder return and a shared vision. My short-term goals are to gain differentiating experiences within Indiana University, and industry experience at internships that will expose me to many disciplines. My long-term goals after college are to add value to an organization which prioritizes employee development, as well as a culture which focuses on making a positive impact on the communities they serve.
