Designed to completely transform the way the world looks at learning, the platform provides a highly personalized learning experience, which focuses on the learning activities that happen at the Point of Learning for each student. As Academy Director, I manage all aspects of Tabtor Academy Achieve's business operations and marketing as well as serve as math instructor for my clients.

I developed and executed strategic plans to increase DeVry University’s exposure in New Jersey and met the metro’s channel inquiry generation needs including B2B, community college, high school and military markets. I managed, trained and coached a team of 10 representatives to build and strengthen relationships and drive enrollment growth. I also managed the New Jersey metro’s outreach efforts by hosting and designing campus tours, coordinating educational conferences and programs to meet the University’s outreach objectives.

I managed a team of six High School Programs Representatives to deliver interactive and motivational presentations to High School students throughout New Jersey, as well as optimize territory management, build relationships and promote DeVry’s programs and scholarships to educators, prospective students and parents.

As the Assistant Director of High School Programs (ADHP), I lead the team’s training and coaching efforts for High School Programs Representatives in territory that spanned Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Upstate New York and Maryland. I provided managerial support and mentoring while simultaneously managing my own territory to effectively develop and maintain relationships and generate prospective high school inquiries that will lead to enrollments.

I delivered energetic, educational and motivational presentations to high school juniors and seniors to influence their decisions to pursue higher education and potentially attend DeVry University. I made informational presentations to all levels of educators in high schools and community colleges to encourage them to recommend DeVry University to their students.

I developed and administered new professional development and educational programs that were aligned with the core vision and the programmatic mandate of City Hall and the New York City Department of Education. I monitored budget and financial functions, identified and cultivated relationships with potential partners and community members to enhance programmatic effectiveness and promoted the Academy in the community and media.

I Interfaced with Department of Education Senior Instructional Managers, Regional Superintendents, foundations, community organizations, post-secondary institutions and others to identify needs and process for new schools creation. A key responsibility was to coordinate community engagement events and activities, focusing on parents and community based stakeholders, to garner support for successful new school development and opening. I also provided professional development and technical assistance to applicants and charter and small school development teams.

I recruited, coached and advised college students to promote professional, personal and academic growth in preparation for their corporate internships and ultimately for positions with their sponsoring companies after graduation.

As the director of this not-for-profit supplemental educational program that met after-school and on Saturdays for inner-city students in grades 5-12, I designed curricula for basic skills development, college preparation, summer enrichment and character development. Additionally, I planned and facilitated parent workshops; established community collaborations; directed performing arts program and managed summer Jobs/Internships Program for high school students.
