I am a sociologist from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, and I have a master's degree in political studies. In my master's, I worked on the relationship between the Army of National Liberation and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia. My professional life has revolved around social research, especially around armed conflict. I have worked in spaces such as the Rama Judicial of the Colombian State, the National Center for Historical Memory, the Truth Commission, and the Special Jurisdiction for Peace developing different investigations related to other armed actors. In those investigations, I have made multiple field trips; this has allowed me to interact with various actors in the territory involved in the armed conflict, such as civilian victims, active and retired military, demobilized paramilitaries, armed and unarmed guerrillas, business people, and politicians.
