CurrentI developed the Implementation and Rollout of the 1 to 1 Macintosh Laptop program for the entire campus which encompasses K-8th grade and also includes Staff and Faculty. The department maintains roughly 500+ Laptops every summer for the new year and we manage all upgrades and software rollout throughout the year. I am well versed in MDM solutions and manage all of our apple devices using JamF which includes software rollout, software updates, and scripting/automation for over 500 devices. I also have experience with IaaS and SaaS such as Intune, Azure, and Google Workspace. As of 2022, we are in the 15th year of this program.I address audio/visual needs and concern on the campus. This includes projectors, wireless microphones, smartboards, televisions, touch screens on those televisions, camera equipment for the students, and also camera accessories.I manage and repair many education technology items on campus such as 3D printers, cracked macbook screens, bad macbook hard drives, touchscreen technology for smart tvs, iPad carts, Laptop Carts, projectors, saving the school money from not having to outsource the repairs or purchasing costly warranties.I do research on which technologies to buy for the school, making sure it will bring the school forward and that it is also cost effective for the school.I help staff and students learn how to use programs (i.e. Photoshop, iMovie, Adobe Premiere, Word, Excel, GarageBand etc) on their laptops, or assist them when they are having problems with the programs. There is a helpdesk position on campus and I work directly with that position to make sure the day-to-day operations of the campus are met for students, staff, and faculty. I also manage interns who assist in the roll out of technology for the school.
