I am a researcher that is passionate about creating applied results, including creating policy documents, workshops, and advising non-profits. I am just as passionate towards knowledge translation and education as I am research. My work focuses on public space, deviance, dignity, and environmental design to deter crime. I am well known for my rather unique experience on public restrooms and creative methodologies, like using Google reviews to nationally map police perceptions. I love using mixed qualitative-quantitative approaches to research design that draw on the strengths of both.
