Eric W. Stephenson is a sculptor and studio director with over 27 years of experience in creating and managing art projects that explore the form, spirit, and experience of the body, human and otherwise, through abstraction and industrial materials and methods. He is currently the Studio Director at Richard Hunt Sculptural Services, where he oversees the production, installation, and maintenance of the renowned artist's monumental sculptures, as well as the legacy, estate planning, proposals, website, photography, and administration of the studio.Stephenson is also an accomplished sculptor in his own right, having exhibited his work nationally and internationally at prestigious venues such as Scope during Art Basel Miami and New York City, the Elmhurst Museum, and the Frederick Meijer Sculpture Garden. His work is found in numerous private and public collections, and he has won several awards and residencies, including the First Biennial Miller Sculpture Exhibition Purchase Prize and a SIM Residency in Reykjavik, Iceland. Stephenson is passionate about sharing his knowledge and skills with the art community, and has taught and lectured at various institutions and conferences. He is also an emeritus board member of Chicago Sculpture International, and the head curator of the Purdue University Northwest Odyssey Sculpture Exhibition. Stephenson's specialties include foundry, welding, 3D scanning and printing, web design, CAD, and ceramics.
