CurrentHis work with the University Of Kentucky Center for Visualization and Virtualization included the following projects:US Army Research Office: Miniature, Non-Contact Rolled Equivalent Fingerprint Collection Device Department of Homeland Security and The National Institute of Hometown Security: Rolled Equivalent, 3-D Fingerprint/Palm Print Scanner The National Institute of Hometown Security: Optical Intrusion Alarm for Defense of Critical Infrastructure Under Conditions of Fog, Smoke or Fire Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation: 3Dimensional Surround Scanning and Surface Feature Tracking Office of Naval Research (ONR): Phase 1 STTR for object docking His role in these projects was as professional member of a small team (consisting of multiple professors, graduate students, professionals and an entrepreneur) proposing and executing new R&D enterprises to government agencies such as the NSF, NIH and DoD.A six month contract developed a control system and GUI for the ASITS anti-sniper system – this was part of joint project with the US Marines, Lockheed, University of Kentucky Department of Electrical Engineering and several smaller firms. Components included GPS, compass, vision.
