I'm a founding member and former President. Throughout my tenure as a member of the Board of Directors, I contributed to the organization of several mobile robotics competitions and other academic events both at the national and international level. Most notably, I was a key member of the organizing committee of the RoboCup World Championship 2012, which took place at the World Trade Center in Mexico City.The Mexican Federation of Robotics was formally established in 2010. However, I have been an active member of the group that created it since 2006.

My main responsibility in the company is delivering a robust product that can be launched at scale and across the globe while maintaining a smooth and sustainable business operation.To achieve our goals, I lead a team of engineers with skills in Software Development, Mechanical Design and Manufacturing, and Electronics. I am also in charge of bringing new talent to the team, for which I leverage my vast international network.I support the company's fundraising efforts by establishing detailed project plans and budgets in connection with our application for public funds to execute our R&D activities and create new intellectual property assets.

I collaborate with renowned multinational partners and clients in Germany and around the world on Industry 4.0 projects that involve AI-based automated inspection, autonomous mobile robotics, edge computing, and 5G networks. I also lead the productization efforts of the company's autonomous mobile robotics technology.

I led the robotics team at AUTO1 IT in Berlin. The team works on developing devices and related technology for the automation of car inspections. My role involved interfacing with internal stakeholders to define road maps and prioritize tasks. We work under the structure of Scrum. I also designed and set up a new laboratory environment that unlocked the possibility of performing many necessary experiments for the development of the company's technology.

I led a team of young professionals with different engineering backgrounds. With this team, we developed a domestic service autonomous mobile robot targeted towards the Spanish-speaking market.The project entailed everything from 3D modeling, electronics design, parts selection and integration, prototype manufacturing, as well as software architecture design and development.Leading this project has been a gratifying learning experience for me, and has helped me grasp the differences between commercial product design and academic research.

Founded the Mobile Robotics and Automated Systems Lab. The research group in our lab is composed mainly of bachelor and masters students. The most recognized project of the group are the humanoid robots Cyberlords La Salle, with which our laboratory achieved international recognition due to the participation in six RoboCup World Championships (Austria 2009, Singapore 2010, Turkey 2011, Mexico 2012, Netherlands 2013, Brazil 2014). Throughout the years, the group has developed other kinds of mobile robots. Among them, mobile robots with omnidirectional locomotion and, more recently, multi-rotor drones.

In addition to the coordination of this academic program, during this time I was part of the team that designed two new academic programs for our institution: Mechatronics Engineering and the Masters of Science in Cybernetics. I also founded the Mobile Robotics and Automated Systems Lab.
