As a professional advocate I've worked in various different capacities in the non-profit and public policy sector. After graduating SUNY Cortland, I became a Project Coordinator and Outreach Director for NYPIRG from 2010-2014 and was a Field Manager for Working America, AFL-CIO in 2014. These positions gave me tremendous experience in public policy, grassroots advocacy, and fundraising.Since 2015 I've worked mostly as a specialist assisting people who are at risk and living with HIV, chronic illnesses, substance use disorders, and individuals in the criminal justice system. Assisting people who may face discrimination, bias, or social stigmas has been challenging at times, but always rewarding. I've always been ambitious when it comes to making a difference in peoples lives who are struggling or may feel alienated or hopeless. I hope to continue to advocate for marginalized individuals throughout my career.
