Currently I am a junior at Texas A&M University. I was used to taking public transportation when I was younger which opened the door for my interest of pursuing civil engineering. Specifically, I was interested by the BART system in San Francisco and rode it many times and the high speed rail systems in Japan and other countries. And I tend to question the types of transportation systems I currently live in, especially in Texas. So, I do have a passion in trains, planning for metro systems and sometimes draw metro maps through memory. I have previously have completed three semesters at Texas A&M Galveston. Even though I am not taking engineering, I still look forward to pursuing my future career somewhere in that field even if nothing comes into fruition.
