Luthando Bara left formal employment as the Director of Marketing at Fort Hare University in year 2008 to establish his own business portfolio. A marketing and communications practitioner by qualification, he became a businessman by choice leaving a lucrative career in his field to venture into new areas.Due to his business acumen and foresight he has identified opportunities in different areas of business such as Media, Communications, Publishing, Gambling & Betting, Information Technology, Eventing and Investments.He is a branding expert and one of the leading authorities on branding strategy and brand re-imagination, having turned around such brands as the University of Fort Hare, Fleet Africa EC, a number of Government Departments and Agencies to mention a few. Bara is currently leading the imagination and creative process for the development of the Ekurhuleni IRPTN brand. He leads a team of creatives, words smiths, graphics experts of different persuasions to bring about unique and well thought through branding concepts. He has over the years mastered the relationship between research, creative process, creative artistry, project management and production.
