As a Senior Legal Counsel at WDBA-APWD, I apply my 14+ years of experience and LL.M. degree in Energy and Infrastructure Law to deliver legal solutions for the Gordie Howe International Bridge project, one of the largest and most complex public-private partnerships (P3) in North America. I specialize in the legal, regulatory, and policy aspects of energy and infrastructure projects, both in Canada and internationally.In my current role, I work with WDBA's business units in addressing various legal issues concerning the implementation of the P3 Project Agreement, the procurement of goods and services, and the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of various commercial agreements. I also assist in ensuring legal compliance, managing enterprise and project-related risks, and enhancing corporate governance practices through relevant policies and procedures. Additionally, I contribute to the development and dissemination of knowledge and best practices in the energy and infrastructure sectors, as evidenced by my publication on the legal and regulatory framework for distributed energy resources in the Philippines.
