The procurement function plays a pivotal role in whole organization and is a major service provider to internal and external customers. The emphasis given under my job responsibilities are the following:• Managing customers and vendor service and relationships and aim in providing timely and cost-effective service benefits the company.• Day-to-day operations carried out within framework of policies, procedures with clear reporting framework focusing both on operational requirements and problem solving whilst implementing strategies, procurement plans in most effective and efficient manner. • Purchase of high value spares, Equipment's such as Exchangers, Transformers, Tanks & Vessels Procurement and Fabrication, Chillers with SAT and FAT, Replacements of Switchgears. Review and approve Sourcing Strategies and award of Purchase Orders ensuring established systems and procedures are implemented without any deviations and be proactive corrective actions taken to close any gaps.• Plan, monitor, supervise agreements and purchases of plant operational spares parts, consumables, project and turnaround requirements, Capex and Opex spares. Resolve material discrepancies and monitor its KPI.• Exercise approval and control of delegation of authority as per Table of Financial Authority.• Create procurement plans according to project AFE’s (Approved Financial Expenditures) and maintain project timelines by monitoring 3rd party inspectors, drawings approvals, release of Milestone payments to eliminated unwanted impediments and delays in delivery. • Ensure prompt, efficient and timely procurement and delivery . Taking informed decisions in Supply Chain through relevant index such as Shipping Index, Container Index, Freight Index, CPI etc..• Responsible to develop, track and progress of all procurement key performance indicators. Participate in budget preparations and budget reforecasting.• Managing Spent under Operations Procurement between $160 to $280M.Planning Procurement and Delivery of Turnaround Materials between $90 to $180MDuring Shipping & Supply Chain challenges of 2021, achieved 97% of TA material delivery, where about 16,000 items were delivered on-or-before time! • Member of Crisis Management Team and Business Continuity Enterprise Risk Management Team.• Building crisis plan and managing challenges brought by Covid-19, maintain business continuity, prepare list of critical suppliers and get their commitment of support, plan shipping and logistical challenges, oversee cost impact and mitigate risks of production stoppage or plant shutdown.
