Globetrotter & photographer, curious & avid, Yannick Luthy suggests breakaways through the known and the unknown, even sometimes revealing the invisible. His sense of composition, his insight and his poetry offer a sensitive work.Specialized in architecture and storytelling, Yannick Luthy is inspired by his environment, close and distant, in which he draws the irony. His benevolent yet sharp eyes allow him to examine the everyday life poetry, instants that are sometimes fleeting moments left by humans, both suggestive and sometimes sarcastic.After studying Political Science, Yannick Luthy began his first travels and stayed in New Zealand and Japan. In 2009, he graduated with honours as a photographer from the Instituto Europeo de Design in Rome. From 2010 to 2017, he took over the management of a gallery entirely dedicated to photography, La Golée, in Auvernier, Switzerland, where he exhibited local and international artists.In parallel to his photographic practice, Yannick Luthy works in the technical department of the Musée de l' Elysée, Lausanne, for which he is assistant exhibition designer.
