Hello! My name is Luukas Ojala and welcome to my LinkedIn profile. I am 22 years old, and am from the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area. I currently attend Brigham Young University Idaho’s online program, where I study business administration. I’ve been a self proclaimed sports fanatic all my life, but pretty early on realized I wasn’t going to be able to make a career out of playing sports professionally. I’m a fan of many different sports, but the one that has stolen my heart and become my professional passion is football ⚽️. I fell in love with the beautiful game fairly early on, but what cemented my love and desire to makes it my career was a trip to Providence Park for a Portland Timbers match. When I realized that I could make soccer my job, without lacing up my boots, I was determined to make the beautiful game my career. What gives me passion more than anything is seeing lives change thru sport. During my relatively short athletic career, I saw the difference that sports have made on my life and the lives of my teammates. During my short career in the sports industry, I’ve seen how lives change and the lessons that sports bring to people. As a student, both in the classroom and on the football pitch, I am determined to learn everything I can to elevate others to be the best people that they can. I hope to pursue a career in soccer operations, because it allows for me to connect with people on the personal side of this industry. I love solving problems, and I love to serve.I love learning new things and connecting with new people. I am always looking for experience that will help me process my career.
