Instructor for a graduate seminar designed for teaching assistants and graduate students who speak English as an additional language. This seminar helps students improve their academic communication and teaching skills.

In this capacity, I worked on contract with the NFB's Strategic Planning and Government Relations department to produce official reports for the federal government. On separate contracts with Quebec Centre's English Program, I was contracted to write reports on filmmaker training programs based on survey feedback and interviews with former participants.

Designed and implemented promotional campaigns for Canadian Memory Fund web projects. Wrote detailed marketing and communication plans and worked with various NFB sectors to ensure maximum visibility for these projects among intended audiences (primarily the education sector). Engaged directly with educators in ongoing outreach efforts. Worked with freelance writers and graphic designers to create promotional materials. Wrote and worked with video editor to produce a promotional video teaser.

Developed and managed launch of the ShowPeace and Wapos Bay series, including developing promotional Web sites and working with educators to create teaching guides. In May and June, assisted in organizing an NFB networking event for the World Urban Forum and wrote the final report on the NFB's participation in the Forum with Project Leader Luisa Frate.

Coordinated the promotion and outreach of this national filmmaking competition with NFB Centres across Canada.

Wrote marketing plans for two educational documentaries aimed at children and youth, Shredded and Kids Talkin' About Death, in addition to producing and coordinating promotional materials for these two films.Researched and wrote copy for a brochure promoting the Reel Diversity filmmaking competition. Worked with a graphic designer to produce and print the brochure.

Directed, shot and edited a short film, entitled Screen Test on digital video. It was acquired by the NFB and included on their Work for All short film collection (2007). It also aired on CBC News: Sunday and screened at several film festivals in Canada and the U.S.A.

Assisted on several marketing projects under the supervision of the Head of Marketing.

Conducted research for the documentary and assisted Producer on administrative aspects of documentary film production, such as negotiating and obtaining rights for music, archival footage and still images used in the film.
