I was brought in full time as I continued to develop my understanding of the warehouse management system. This led me to take 3 new projects.Towards the end of my internship, I was tasked with leading and developing an application. The application served as a mobile dashboard for managers to keep track of their warehouse processes. The front-end aspect became large and complex so learning to write reusable and functional components was needed (utilizing hooks and a functional-presentational component approach). The project is developed as a Progressive Web App for offline functionality with Workbox. The UI/UX design was also a stand out after the study of interaction design and color theory.The 2nd project builds on my experience with web applications using the ReactJS ecosystem. Here I am learning project management with the Scrum methodology as well as guiding a small team towards building out the required features. The project is used as an accounting software for the warehouse management system. I joined this project without an accounting background so I developed a study plan outside of work to gain knowledge on accounting systems.The 3rd project challenges my understanding of the back-end system. The project involves writing API documentation using Open API standards for incoming front-end developers using SwaggerPHP and Swagger UI. As of now, I am continuing to learn the back-end infrastructure.

I was brought in to develop front end features on our warehouse management web application. I self-learnt ReactJS along with the Redux ecosystem with guidance from my supervisor. I found the warehouse management system challenging to understand and took initiative to familiarize myself with the concepts involved and eventually learnt Laravel to expand my responsibilities. This included building out an informative dashboard to track warehouse processes.The work here gave me exposure to UI/UX design, REST APIs and working with databases.

• Tutoring 1st through 4th year university courses for students majoring in Chemical Engineering at the University of Queensland • Courses include: First/Second year Chemistry, Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra (1 & 2), Chemical Thermodynamics, Heat & Mass Transfer, Transport Phenomena, Reaction Engineering and Process modelling (including the use of MATLAB & Simulink), Unit Operations (including the use of ASPEN Hysys)• Consulted with reactor design (fermenter) for a Design Project using MATLAB• Created a simulink algorithm to model a 2-unit system for PID controller implementation• Teaching style promotes discussions during problem-based learning, enabling students to identify gaps in knowledge and recalling information in a shorter span of time

• Operated and maintained over 100 photobioreactors, daily, that facilitate microalgae growth and Astaxanthin synthesis• Prepared different chemical media (64L in 4 hours, once every day) containing ionic salts as a nutrient source for microalgae• Researched unit operations capable of drying large amounts of chemical media into a powdered state for increased shelf-life

Research Title: Development of new tools to define cumulative light stress on seagrasses in the Great Barrier Reef • Generated MATLAB code (within 100 lines) capable of sorting out over 4000 rows and 12 columns of data• Analysed correlations between sea grass growth and environmental factors (light, temperature, CO2 conc., etc)• Identified metabolic processes in seagrass roots may not be significant when modelling for seagrass growth under different conditions
