As a tech lead, I use my technical and management knowledge to assist the company's technical and strategic decision-making.- I monitor and provide technical support to the company's projects, working with squad leaders to solve problems that couldn't be solved within it;- I work directly with the PO in identifying and mapping new features for the company's platform, bringing architectural solutions that best meet their needs;- I represent the technical team in meetings with our clients;- I assist in the technical evaluation of the hiring processes, evaluating technical and behavioural capabilities in candidates;- I manage the technical risks of the project, assessing the impacts they represent and, together with the CTO, develop and execute action plans to mitigate or eliminate these risks.

I actively participated in the migration of a monolithic application to a microservices architecture, aiming to improve the system's scalability and resilience. The stack used included NodeJS, Express, TypeScript, RabbitMQ, and MongoDB. During this period:- I encouraged the creation of our libraries that encapsulated external ones, to create new features and increase the resilience of our services.- I initiated the use of NPM as a repository for private packages, like the libraries mentioned above.- I collaborated with the DevOps team to understand how to create performance and operation metrics for the services.- I led the migration of our messaging service to a managed solution, mitigating pre-existing server issues. These initiatives not only enhanced operational efficiency but also significantly contributed to the overall stability of the application.

I decided to return to technical development after my experience in project management, with the goal of directly applying my knowledge of stakeholder and team management to projects. I worked on migrating features from a legacy POS system to a new platform, working on backend development in Python and frontend in React, developing end-to-end features.

As a project manager, I significantly expanded the scope of my previous roles by incorporating financial management into my portfolio of responsibilities. I developed and implemented new BIs for financial forecasting and automated the quarterly bonus calculation process, reducing its execution time from almost a day to just a few minutes, reflecting the project's specifics. Additionally, I enhanced my feedback skills, fostering a culture of open and constructive communication, and helping the team to give and receive effective feedback.

In my first exclusive management role, I worked on a project with about 40 developers - the project with the largest number of people that the company had at that time - alongside a project manager, assisting him with internal team matters and with the client. Some of the activities I performed during this period included:- Career tracking- 360 performance evaluations- Creating individual development plans (IDP)- Interviews- Conflict resolution- Delivery monitoring I also worked using Power BI to bring performance metrics, providing a real-time view of the progress of operations.

I progressively assumed the project management, which expanded my interaction with the client and required a balance between my technical and managing roles. Although my focus as a developer remained on critical aspects related to business rules, my role evolved to include the comprehensive management of:- Schedule- Scope- Team- Expectations- Stakeholders- Delivery

Still on the Itineraries project, I was invited to take on the role of business analyst, where I could use my technical and business knowledge about the project. I worked closely with the end client on product development and sought ways to enhance the platform's impact on its users. The meetings occurred both remotely and in person, allowing for a better understanding of the daily experiences for those who used the platform. These were key moments for devising solutions targeted at the main needs of the users.

I worked on a project for the SENAI Education Itinerary Management System, developing backend features such as a dynamic reports module and another report generated entirely within the database using PostgreSQL procedures, in addition to common web system features. During this period, I:- Initiated the transition from the SVN version control system to Git, which is still the standard today.- Conducted the first experiments using Docker to standardize service operations and speed up the onboarding process for new employees.- Started an analysis and subsequent migration from Windows to Linux due to its better integration with the tools we used.
