As a Library Assistant at the County of Marin and the City of San Rafael, I collaborate with my colleagues to provide excellent customer service and administrative support to patrons and staff. I operate and troubleshoot computer systems, assist with library materials, and enforce library policies and etiquette. I also translate for Spanish-speaking patrons and coworkers, leveraging my bilingual skills to help my community. I am passionate about serving the community and contributing to a welcoming, inclusive environment. In addition to my library work, I have experience in disaster response and case management, helping underserved people in times of need. I am an alumna from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where I studied government and civic engagement. I received the City of San Rafael's "Working Together to Create 21st Century Government" award as part of the Library Department Rental Assistance Team in 2021. My goal is to pursue a career in public service and advocacy, using my knowledge and skills to make a positive difference in the world.
