We organize and build grassroots leadership within East Multnomah County to create an equitable and livable community centered on the needs of underrepresented and marginalized residents. ● Ran a local campaign to approve a 224-unit affordable housing development where we collected 100 letters of support, hosted 3 listening sessions and prepped community members to testify at the planning commission that ultimately passed the permit. ● Partnered with We Count Oregon statewide Census campaign. Our field team surpassed our goal, making a total of 12,442 contacts. Collectively we have met our Statewide Goal of reaching 200,000 contacts.

We work to foster a more civically engaged community and reflective leadership by mobilizing voters, training candidates and winning elections. ● During my tenure, we achieved a 90% win rate in over 45 races that we’ve endorsed and worked on since 2018. ● Managed our biggest door knocking effort ever organized in east county. Knocked 15,000 in 6 weeks (ballot chase) effectively helping elect the first Latinx, LGBTQ Councilor to the City of Gresham. ● Flipped 5 school districts by recruiting, training and running 11 BIPOC candidates to run in 5 different school districts and winning 10 races in May 2019. ● Helping pass Metro parks bond renewal and saw a uptick in voter turnout due to our field efforts. ● Endorsed what is our biggest slate in ECR’s history - 15 candidates and 3 ballot measures. Fundraised $85,000 over 3-4 months and managed a team of 2 FTEs and 10 field organizers. Together we facilitated 86 PBs, 11 Textbanks, 7 lit drops, 14,000 lit pieces dropped, and recruited 200 unique volunteers.
