As a PhD candidate, my research focuses on advancing the safety, security, and reliability of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) in safety-critical applications. My work in analog sensor design and validation aims to bridge the gap in analog fault coverage and mitigate security vulnerabilities within CPS. Through this, I am developing innovative solutions that enhance system robustness, pushing forward the frontiers of sensor technology and hardware integrity.As a Senior Hardware Design Engineer with over 9 years of experience at the University of Minho, I have honed my expertise in the design, simulation, and validation of complex electronic systems. My work includes PCB layout and hardware design using tools like Altium and LTE-Sim, as well as the assembly of electronic components. I specialize in testing and validating PCBs, performing EMC testing and debugging, and developing mechatronic systems. Additionally, I manage and coordinate a multidisciplinary R&D team, driving innovation while maintaining system-level reliability. My ongoing participation in industry events like Altium Live Conferences ensures that I stay updated on the latest advancements in PCB design.
