PhD in Technologic, Comparative and Molecular Genetics (European title), has developed research in several thematic areas, with focus on: microbiological, genomic, proteomic and transcriptomic characterization of antibiotic resistant bacteria from wild animals and clinical source; the introduction of innovative technologies and agricultural practices that promote a sustainable development of Mediterranean crops in adverse climatic settings; innovation in the food sector through the valorization of food and agri-food by-products. Has joined the Mountains Research Collaborative Laboratory - MoreColab as Research Technician for the Area of Food and Bio-Based Products in 2020. Throughout his work, has authored/co-authored 28 scientific articles in international peer review journals, with over 510 citations, and currently has an h index of 13 (Web of Science).
