Provide shore-based support and monitor the safe operation of the assigned group of vessels.Ensure fleet compliance with the Company’s HSQE policies and Industry standards.Perform ISM, ISPS, Navigational and Environmental Internal Audits.Conduct pre-vetting inspections. Support to Vetting / SIRE inspections.Update Q88 database and OCIMF HVPQ. Liaise with Oil Major Companies to schedule inspections,respond to observations and provide comments in case of adverse vessel performance reports.Make every effort to guarantee that Charterers and Oil Majors requirements are promptly attended andcomplied with.Control and evaluate fleet voyage plans, cargo and or discharging plans and Stability Calculations.Appraise Near Miss, Incident Reports, Non-Conformities and Audit Reports. Conduct Incidentinvestigations and issue Office Incident Reports whenever required.Evaluate safety training sessions.Control Computer Based Training Records.Regularly issue Safety and Quality Memos.Review and comment Master's Management Reviews.Review fleet Risk Assessments.Control the condition of the safety equipment on board assigned vessels, schedule annual safety LSA /FFA inspections and approve safety equipment requisitions.Prepare Office Risk Assessments using PHAPro database tool.Communicate with Flag Administrations on Safety, Environmental and Security related issues.Coordinate with Class regarding Quality / Marine related matters.Prepare and control the annual safety budgets for the assigned group of vessels.As a certified ECDIS type specific trainer, conduct ECDIS type specific training on an ECDISTRANSAS 4000 either on board or at the Office and certify attending shipboard staff.

Perform Office(s) and Onboard Internal Audits (ISM, ISPS and Navigational. Perform Crewing Agencies Audits. Conduct Incident Investigations, trainings onboard and ashore, present to Crew members or Shore Staff topics related with Quality Management on Company Seminars or other similar forums.
