He also brought ideas on how we could achieve this. Working together, Luis very quickly obtained the technology skills required and at the same time, he helped the other more technical team members quickly build up their HR skillsets. It is this willingness of Luis to constantly look at himself and others around him to determine what is needed to succeed, which makes him a very humble talented HR business leader and an excellent team player. As we built and implemented the new model, Luis became the leader for one of sub-teams. As a leader, Luis’ compassion and interest in the success of people, came out in everything he did. In this role, Luis needed to work with several different cultures and he did this expertly, looking for ways to learn more about each of his team members and ensure they were always felt 100% included. As a result, his team members truly enjoyed working for him, respected him and his team always delivered beyond expectations.
