In this position I was responsible for Zeeman's non-textile product range. Responsibilities:• Purchase/development of the assortment in toys, shoes, paper goods, greeting cards, DIY and creative articles.• Develop an OTB/buying plan, together with the buyer and the merchandiser.• Master the supply chain.• Briefing stylists about designs and assortment.• Analyse sales results and market-developments in order to anticipate.• Propose ideas for marketing communication.• Control product quality and claims concerning product safety and intellectual property, together with the manager Quality and CSR.• Responsible to manage an assistant buyer.

In this position, I was the point of contact for all stake holders regarding the buying department. I represented the buying department in all kind of projects within Zeeman.• I’ve created and managed a team of 5 administrative buying assistants.• Responsible for the development and implementation of the Purchase Order Portal. Also Key-user for this computer system.• Development and implementation of a new article structure for the purpose of the Zeeman e-commerce environment.• Buying, developing and implementing the Zeeman company wear collection.• Buying and developing Zeeman goodies and give-aways.• Managing the commercial flyers within the buying department, together with marketing, visual merchandise and logistics.• Responsible for implementing and secure process improvements.• Part of ‘project NOOS’.• Part of ‘project social media’.

As buying assistant I was responsible for ladies, children’s and men’s apparel and accessories. My responsibilities where: creating style sheets and size specs and approving samples, packaging and lab dips. Finally I was responsible to manage the critical path of production and delivery.
