Dorset Rehabilitation Centre (30-bed hospital) and North Eastern Rehabilitation Centre (46-bed hospital) provide both inpatient and outpatient services. My role as an Allied Health Assistant involves independently managing a daily caseload of neurological and musculoskeletal patients within inpatient rehabilitation, supervising AHA students, liaising with MDT members, facilitating specialized OT group sessions (e.g. breakfast/lunch, relaxation, long handle aid, and falls education) and assisting in hydrotherapy sessions.

Working closely with senior physiotherapists to provide high-quality injury management and prevention and return to sport rehabilitation for affiliated football teams.

Employed as part of the COVID-19 surge response and allocated in ICU as a PPE spotter.• Spotted and supervised appropriate use of PPE which included observing, guiding, correcting technique during donning and doffing for all healthcare workers, patients and visitors.• Ensured that each PPE station was stocked up appropriately and assisted PSA’s, admin and ANUM's with light tasks.
