OfferZen is Africa's largest and fastest developer job marketplace where 2000+ EU and SA companies hire from a community of 100 000+ makers.My final role at OfferZen was creating an internal Revenue Operations team, aimed at aligning the support infrastructure, internal tooling and systems, data infrastructure, product collateral and reporting metrics across all revenue generating teams.This was a highly complex challenge that involved aligning and implementing change management across all teams within the organisation, including heavy collaboration with operational, technical and marketing leadership.During this time I Integrated and upgraded key organisational information systems, including new: Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for internal recruitment, Knowledge Management (KM) systems, External communication systems.

In this role I formed part of a small team of specialists working directly with the CEO on various projects of strategic importance, including:- Developing strategic business ventures with external partners. - Head-hunting external leadership and executive talent.- Developing and deploying a new subscription-based revenue model.- Started upgrading key organisational information system (this turned into my next RevOps role)

The Account Management team at OfferZen are responsible for the onboarding, success and retention of our entire client base.As the team lead I was ultimately responsible for determining and implementing our client-facing operational strategy. During my tenure our client base grew from 400 to 2000+- Strategic direction and coordination with the rest of the leadership team.- Recruiting and training new AMs as the team scaled from the foundational team of 4 to 12+ - People management and mentoring for each of the AM's.- Designing and implementing the processes and systems the team used (operational and technical)- Spearheading various organisational initiatives and client-facing product changes.

I joined OfferZen as our first dedicated Enterprise Account Manager. My focus was on developing our approach with large enterprise clients, and how we could best go about solving their technical recruitment problems.

Our past projects include the creation of novel 3D touch user interfaces, educational serious games, corporate training games and internal corporate tools.Throughout my tenure at Clockwork Acorn my duties focused everything from business development, programming, game design and recruitment, but also all the fun tasks that come with bootstrapping a business such as furniture assembly, tax compliance and launch party planning.

I was a full-time researcher at the MIH Media Lab while working on my Masters Thesis. My research was focused on the development and testing of a digital serious game aimed at teaching the fundamentals of programming logic through the use of symbol-based visualization.
