In this role, I facilitated and managed a range of inter-agency, interstate and international partnership arrangements relating to mutual aid for emergency response by liaising with partner agencies, executive directors and legal advisors. I then worked in the planning team, contributing to the implementation of the 'Safer Together' policy. I developed conceptual models and risk analyses for integrating the multi-agency, community focussed planning and delivery of bushfire risk reduction in Victoria. I worked as Senior Advisor to the Executive Director of Strategy, Capability and Innovation and through this role prepared Ministerial Briefs, acted as Secretariat for the DELWP response to the re-opened Hazelwood Mine Fire Inquiry and prepared evidence for multiple other inquiries and PAEC hearings.I was also involved in bushfire response coordinating the deployment of general firefighters, drivers and base camp support crew and helping in the management of base camps in Tasmania and Wye River, providing food and accommodation to firefighters and incident management teams from across Australia and New Zealand.

In this role, I was part of the project management team responsible for delivering Water Resource Plans for Victoria in order to implement key actions of the Murray-Darling Basin Plan. Key responsibilities included: - Coordinating the Water Resource Plans coordination group- Synthesising material from various technical areas - Engaging with Catchment Management Authorities, Rural Water Corporations, VEWH and the MDBA - Developing funding agreements with stakeholders - Presenting at stakeholder forums - Developing briefing materials, discussion papers and management updates - Monitoring and reporting on budget and timeline - Health and Safety Representative

As a member of the committee, I co-organised the 2016 Young Water Professionals Regional Conference on the Mornington Peninsula including engaging sponsors, organising speakers and site visits, selecting accommodation, transport and catering options and co-hosting the event. I lead the planning for the 2017 Professional Development Series until my departure from the committee to move interstate.
