Making a difference is what I strive to do. Setting goals and then going higher to achieve what was said couldn't be done. It is my mission to make a difference each day. I love being around people and traveling is my favorite past time. I have been blessed with a unique outlook on life. Being disabled has limited my opportunities, but not my mindset. It is my goal to share this with others. My disability has put me in front of a lot of interesting people and taken me to a lot of interesting places. I am fortunate to be involved with a marathon/triathlon organization for special needs athletes called Ainsley's Angels. I was also the reason that a sports organization, called Awesome Kids, was created. This group was founded in 2005 to provide, people like me with disabilities, a place to play with our peers. My parents founded this organization and it is now in its 15 years of service to our community. I have been able to grow from a player in this organization to the assistant to the director. I love the hope that this organization provides to families with disabled kids. Children's Miracle network is something close to my heart. I was an ambassador for this group in my younger years. I also helped with fundraising for this organization in high school and as a Phi Mu in college. My future in the media I hope includes making a difference in people's lives. I think I would enjoy being a radio host or working behind the scenes in media production, especially if I can be a force in the special needs community.
