Salty Dog Digital released two games, Fourtex Zen and Fourtex Jugo, both puzzle games, available on iOS, Android and on Amazon Kindle Fire, and more recently with Humble Bundle for Linux, Windows and Mac. With development on two continents, we've used online tools to build a virtual team and our own culture and methods of working together. It's exciting to see how the product evolved over time as we wrestled with development environments and making sure that all aspects of the game were consistent and aligned with the game brand, from the artwork, animation, music, sound effects and what functionality was selectable in the options and just as importantly, what we chose to exclude.Subsequently, my husband Robert Wahler, launched Wahler Digital to continue game development, and has launched the critically acclaimed SiNKR and SiNKR 2 minimalist puzzle games available on PC and mobile platforms and Apple TV, with select consoles coming soon.

Focusing on the Cable Commercial Services segment, I help MSOs and their partners grow their markets and execute more efficiently. I am also involved in other areas of the cable industry as required, including VOD and Carrier Ethernet.

Supplier of Carrier Ethernet Outdoor Equipment and software to the Cable industry. I introduced the category of Carrier Ethernet to cable operators, identifying it as a greenfield opportunity where MSOs could compete against traditional telecommunications providers on a more equal footing. I represented the company at the Metro Ethernet Forum, creating and then leading the Cable MSO working group, also serving as VP Marketing track and was elected to the Board.

N2Broadband was a Video On Demand software start up that was acquired by Tandberg Television (subsequently acquired by Ericsson). At N2BB I sold Professional Services. After the acquisition, I was responsible for business development for VOD software sales to the US telco market. I made the first software sales to 3 of the top 4 US telcos.

At S-A, I held a range of roles commencing with Systems Engineering in the Satellite Television Networks Division, progressing through Product Management (focusing on an IP over satellite product and multiplexer), Market Management (focused on the Business TV segment, a B2B environment) within the satellite group. With the end of the analog to digital transition in satellite, I moved to the Subscriber group working on software applications. I managed and negotiated the contract with Eastman Kodak to develop a photo-sharing application.

As a systems engineer, I served on the MPEG-2 Transport committee, leading the work concerning PSI (Program Specific Information). I wrote the first draft of the DVB-SI specification that was submitted to the DVB committee. I participated in EBU / ETSI Joint Technical Committee (JTC) meetings as well as numerous ITU-R (CCIR) groups, including authoring a contribution on the impact of interference on audio channels. I was responsible for the Access Agreement concerning the specifications required of transmitting stations and antennas to access the SES satellite system.

BAeCom was the first independent company to compete against BT in the VSAT market in the UK. The company earned an Satellite Systems Operator license. We offered full time uplink Video services as well as Occasional Use services and Satellite Newsgathering (SNG) services. I was responsible for the selection and commissioning of a 7m antenna system from Andrews including writing the test plan and report. I left BAeCom just as the company was sold to Kingston Communications.

As an apprentice, I worked at BAe while also undertaking my degree program. Cycling through different departments, I had the opportunity to work in Spacecraft Systems, Estimating, Propulsion, Manufacturing, Communications Systems and Calibration. My final rotation was with BAeCom and was subsequently offered a position there upon graduation. BAe introduced me to working in a high reliability environment, introduced work on multi-year programs, grant applications to ESA and low volume specialist manufacturing.
