Currently lecturing at San Diego State University within the Journalism and Media Studies Department teaching JMS 445 (Electronic News Reporting/Producing). I’m also the co-creator and co-host of podcast Aztecs All In.I received a Master of Arts in Education(M.A.) degree with a focus on Educational Technology (now called Learning Design and Technology) at San Diego State University in May 2013. At KFMB I was responsible for all aspects of the newscast. That includes stacking the rundown, making editorial decisions on story content, and managing news writers, video editors and graphic designers for my newscast.Honored with 12 regional Emmy Awards during my career and I was recently inducted into the NATAS Pacific Southwest Chapter's Silver Circle.
