vConsult is an integrated Care Network solution. vConsult fully integrates all elements of the entire referral and consultation process to virtually bring the patient, referring clinician, consultant and care team together. The VP of Engineering and Platforms is responsible for all virtual communication features, core service infrastructure, as well as service availability and scalability.This is a multifaceted role involving various aspects of software/system architecture and development. - Full-stack development of vConsult web service platform as an architect and engineering lead.- Designed and developed core back-end networking and communication features for cloud-level scalability using the latest technologies and frameworks (Play! Framework, Nodejs, WebRTC, etc).- Designed and developed core client-side control layer, which consists of various JavaScript modules for features like chat and more.- Designed and developed core infrastructure for the entire vConsult web platform.

Engineer in the PCI-Express IP group with roles in both ASIC Design and Verification, focusing on aspects of power management, memories, and the PCI-E Link control.- Responsible for the development of architectural specifications for new features and feature modifications.- Responsible for the development of test plans in collaboration with design verification engineers.- Responsible for feature implementations, and modifications, for Gen1, Gen2 and Gen3 PCI-Express Designs.

Co-Founder of start-up venture TechArtistry, developing gesture-based systems for music effects manipulation in a live performance setting.- Developed the data capturing and filtering mechanisms for the spatial orientation and axial movement of a user's hand, as well as finger bending information.- Implemented the MIDI driver used to establish a control channel between any DJ, or music production, software and the control system.

Work term in the PCI-Express IP group with roles in both ASIC Design and Verification largely focused on software tool development.- Developed and maintained automated flows used for synthesis, area analysis, timing analysis, report generation, and code generation for generic hardware blocks. These were implemented using languages such as C++, Perl, Tcl, SQL and PHP.- Designed and verified a power management feature, which is now in all AMD graphics cards. Owned the entire design flow, from the development of the hardware feature to its verification in the C++ testbench.

Project to develop an algorithmic trading system, designed to place periodic forex trades by analyzing exchange rate information retrieved from OANDA’s FXTrade servers.- Implemented the client-side structures and routines for data management and marshalling between the Java frontend and C++ backend through a JNI fabric.- Developed the user interface for the system to provide graphical representations of the live data stream, historic data, as well as some important computational results.
