• Responsible for informing current students about the possibilities in a career they could have with British Council• Work focused in particular with both second year languages students who were thinking about their year abroad options, as well as final year students of all disciplines who were analysing their options post graduation.• Gave talks in front of 200+ students about my experiences living in Austria and working/teaching through British Council, and attended drop-in sessions for those who wanted more in-depth answers.

• In charge of promoting the possibilities and experiences, students can achieve from choosing to opt for a study abroad program as a part of their studies at the University of Sheffield.• Duties include speaking in front of 200+ students in lecture halls, informing them about potential options they have for their third year abroad, and how the process went for me when I was in their shoes.• Placed in charge of my own stall at a specific Global Opportunities Fair with 1,500+ footfall, intended to work similarly to a drop-in session, and jumped into other stalls on other subjects, countries, and opportunities when required by staff or fellow students/employees.

• In charge of working on open days, telling potential students about Sheffield and the school/course.• General tasks include speaking in lecture halls in front of 150+ people about my experiences at university and Sheffield in general.

• Responsible for going into schools and talking to Key Stage 3 students about why they should study languages and how important and useful languages are.• Includes running carousels in which I teach things in languages not typically offered at KS3/4, such as teaching pupils how to write their names in the Cyrillic alphabet (Russian).

• Temporary summer cleaner for Accommodation & Commercial Services at the University of Sheffield, mainly focusing on the student halls in the Endcliffe Student Village.• Responsible for cleaning rooms to a high standard after students moved out and in charge of portering equipment and bedding around and making up rooms to a professional standard, ready for conferences held at the university

• Part-time job to finance through university.• Central part of the pot wash team, keeping the kitchen running efficiently and the business running smoothly at the back for the bar/floor staff and vendors in the food hall, and coherently at the front for the customers.

• Sole employee in charge of the content for the UK label HolidayparkSpecials, writing SEO-optimised blog posts. • Convinced the company to pay more attention to HolidayparkSpecials after increased conversion and bookings through curated content and updating of the website, helped also through liaising with the IT department to eradicate bugs from the front end of all labels as well as my own.• Given additional responsibilities working for the Dutch label of the sister company HotelSpecials, the main, original website, after a proven track record of good work ethic and great performance. •Also responsible for any necessary translations, from blog posts to front-end text, from Dutch or German into English, and on occasion Dutch into German.

• English Language Assistant in two schools in the Kufstein district in Tyrol, Austria (ISK Tirol & HAK Wörgl). • Duties varied from conducting full lessons unassisted which were prepared in advance on a wide range of topics, to working one-to-one with students to prepare them for Matura (A Level) and IB exams, as well as working in small groups with pupils on small projects.

• Responsible for promoting the "Travel Aware" message from the FCO to students through a variety of different means on- and off-campus• On-campus activities include; Speaking about the Travel Aware message in school-wide lectures (200+ people)/society trip meetings & hosting stalls at Freshers Fairs and Global Opportunities Fairs• Off-campus activities include; Writing articles for websites discussing preparations for travelling/living abroad & managing social media content

• Transatlantic DIY indie/emo record label run from a bedroom with friends to help promote bands in both the UK and USA • In charge of ordering cassette tapes, dubbing music on to tapes, selling them online and promoting via social media, as well as handing out flyers at local DIY shows with information about both the label and bands we worked with

• Responsible for cleaning the front of the restaurant to a presentable standard, as well as preparing food, taking stock, and assisting the head chef when the restaurant was particularly busy.
